BIBS (Babies in Buscot Support) is the registered charity supporting babies and their families in the special care baby unit (Buscot Ward) at the Royal Berkshire Hospital in Reading.
Established in 1987, the charity has always been parent-led. The Trustees and staff have all had babies who have needed neonatal care. We have walked in the shoes of the very families we exist to support. In that way, BIBS is not just a charity, we are more like a family to those we care for. We're always striving to make improvements and support the incredible NHS staff who give their all - day in, day out - for the health and well-being of poorly babies and their whole family.
